This project was two-fold: to create a functional book cover, and then to also design a promotional poster for the author.

Non-digital type assignment — dust cover highlighting the concept of identity + self-discovery through a type made from fingerprints. Did a mixed media collage for the silhouette displaying the journey between the head and the heart.

Promotional Book Cover Poster — Had so much fun pushing the limits with this poster design, something I’m not typically comfortable with. I got to dabble in handwritten type, as well as photoshopping the book into Cron’s arms. This color palette wasn’t my typical go-to, but I think I like it better that way!
